Using photography as their medium, Keilicia Parker explores how transitional phases within relationships involving people and places, when looking for spaces of safety and security affect the development of community and identity in Southern black queer and non-queer individuals.
They are pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at Florida State University, focusing on photography. In addition to digital photography, they also work in videography, the utilization of found media, and vintage photo/video documentation devices to create immersive spatial installations.
