Keilicia Parker (they/them) is a queer interdisciplinary artist from Killeen, TX, currently living in Tallahassee, FL. Their practice explores the formation of identity in Southern Black folks and ideas of finding community through relationships to people and places. Utilizing photography, and video/audio, they construct immersive spatial installations that critique anti blackness in digital and real-world media and spaces. Keilicia received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2023. They’ve been showcased nationally, most notably at the McNamara Gallery in Reno, Nevada, and the Gadsden Museum of Art in Gadsden, Alabama.  They are currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at Florida State University.
